Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event took place on July 26, 2023, providing the public with a plethora of information about their new products. Some of the latest Samsung products to feature included the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Watch 6, and Galaxy Tab S91. Hosted in Seoul, South Korea, the event was attended by a big crowd of tech fans excited at the prospect of what Samsung had to offer.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is Samsung’s leading achievement when it comes to foldable phones. It sports a new hinge slimming the phone down and providing a much lighter feel. We've got a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset to thank for this phone's processing power, hopefully extending the battery life past previous models.

For almost half the price, Samsung are also offering the Galaxy Z Flip 5 as a cheaper foldable. It features a redesigned Flex hinge, which improves upon previous generations by decreasing the size of the gap when folded, and also boasts a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. We now have a new 3.4-inch cover display allowing you to interact with selected apps without even having to open the phone.

Samsung also revealed the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic at the event. They have now introduced a brighter display, and some new features including blood oxygen saturation which is apparently important for health? Plus they're bringing back everyone's favourite feature, the rotating bezel!

Samsung also introduced their newest tablet, The Galaxy Tab S9 which exists in various sizes including standard, Plus, and Ultra. All of the versions now include an OLED panel giving the user crisper images and ultra flattering colour contrasts. They also have better designed speakers and all come with the infamous snapdragon chip which is fast becoming the industry standard.
